Description

Date of original1966DescriptionB&W image shows the Animal Nutrition Unit (ANU) under construction at Invermay. In 1966 the newly established Research Division of MAF approved plans for an appropriate facility for sheep nutritional work. The sheep nutrition building was staffed by Ken Drew, Tom Barry, Syd Duncan, and Gordon Greer with the addition in the early 1970’s of Lynn Cartright and Robyn Harrex as laboratory staff. The decade of the 70’s was a time of great expansion at the ANU both in facilities and staff numbers.
